The full-time role:

Snooze Canberra is looking for a motivational and dynamic Assistant Store Manager who is sales-driven, goal-orientated and able to develop your team. You must be passionate about sales with winning behaviours to join our amazing team.

In this role, you can expect to be working a rotating roster, that includes weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working harmoniously leading a small team, supervising and coaching team members
  • Collaborating with your team in the day-to-day store operations
  • Delivering an awesome customer experience  
  • Ongoing training will be provided
  • Provide support to the store manager 

Sales experience is essential along with a good memory for information and a superb attitude, we can teach you the rest.

You will have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Some experience in managing a small team 
  • Retail experience in selling big-ticket items is preferred, but not essential 
  • Exceptionally high standards of customer service 
  • Leadership skills and the ability to build strong relationships with all team members
  • Adept with computer skills (experience with Pronto an advantage) 
  • The motivation to coach and inspire your team to reach their personal best
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
  • The necessary fitness to walk the floor throughout the day and the strength to carry heavy stock safely, from time to time
